Collaborative Leadership

What has been done so far:
- Established a pattern of termly conferences at which successful practice from Redbridge Secondary schools has been shared. Invited speackers have included Sir John Rowling, David Hargreaves and David Moore HMI
- Helped create the culture in which Secondary Headteachers are sharing and planning collaboratively when implementing national initiatives
- Worked on establishing working partnerships and trust across the services including; primary, secondary, health, welfare, social services and voluntary organisations
Plans for this year:
- Conference 31st October 2007 to bring together colleagues from a whole range of professional backgrounds to focus on collaborative approaches to provide better support for vulnerable children and young people
Support for Schools:
- Providing a range of activities to support and develop Secondary Headteachers
- Working with Secondary Headteachers to make Every Child Matters a reality in their school and community
- Promoting innovation in schools
