Pupil Mobility

What has been done so far:
- Termly network meetings of Mobility Group with increased interest and attendance from schools across the borough
- Translated school letters (standard letters translated into 6 languages) piloted with network schools. Further translations have been commissioned
- Teachers TV programme recorded at Cleveland Junior School to show effective practice in admission and induction of new arrivals and mobile pupils

Plans for this year:
- Working with the Redbridge Data Team to show changing trends of mobility and to involve more schools
- To respond to increased numbers of mobile pupils from Eastern Europe
- Completion of translated letters onto CD
- Begin early identification of Gifted and talented EAL pupils (new arrivals)
- Developing guidance and resources pack for New Arrivals within the curriculum
