JORVIK VIKING CENTRE

Wherever you are in the world, you can invite a Viking character into your classroom via videoconferencing. Our taught sessions for schools are offered free of charge. They are very popular and need to be booked in advance.

Our sessions are delivered by a team of education officers and costumed interpreters, and can be run in three ways:

LANGUAGES/MUSIC/DEBATING

VIDEO CONFERENCING FOR GLOBAL LEARNING

VCfGL provide opportunities for KS1-5 students to improve their modern foreign language proficiency levels through connecting with their peers via VC. We also provide classes via video conference from native speaking language teachers aimed to raise language levels, cultural, and global awareness. We also help with other VC content provision:  Manhattan School of Music, School Council discussions, British Council etc.
